There were days I applied to everything.
Jobs. Internships. Fellowships. Anything.
Why? I was running out of options… and rent was due.
📍 I was finishing my Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree at Queen’s University.
I had the drive and the discipline—
But no door seemed to open.
Some applications felt like they were sent straight to the bottom of the ocean.
No call.
No email.
No closure.
But I remember one moment.
A silent prayer after an interview that felt different.
I didn’t even ask for much—just a chance.
And then…
The offer came.
And I nearly wept.
Not just because it was an answer—
But because it was more than I prayed for.
More aligned.
More meaningful.
More than I could have imagined.
📌 If you’re in that season of waiting, I get it.
You’re applying.
Following up.
Trusting.
Working hard.
And still, it feels like nothing is moving.
It feels like the system is broken.
Let me tell you what I’ve learned:
God isn’t a theory. He’s real—and that’s my lived experience.
In my faith journey, I’ve walked through valleys of silence.
And I’ve seen His faithfulness rise like the morning.
💥 The breakthrough is coming.
💥 The email is coming.
💥 The “Congratulations!” will hit your inbox when you least expect it.
Don’t stop.
Don’t quit.
Don’t assume silence means absence.
Because one day—soon—
you’ll read the offer, walk into
the room, and smile through tears, saying:
“God, this is more than I prayed for.”
